Come join us for our final 2024 concerts!

Howdy Friends,

Your friendly neighbourhood banjo player Nick here. A warm welcome to those new subscribers who have joined this list in the last month.

This Thursday to Sunday we have the final 4 concerts of our album launch tour.

After touring the new tunes from It’ll Be Alright for the last month, it’s really bringing us joy to see audiences connecting and being moved by the music. We’ve also been lucky enough to have the wonderful Raphaella Hero from the USA along with us sharing her beautiful songs.

Our Final Dates Are…

‘Britt’s House’ performed live at Four Winds

Britt's House, live at Four Winds, Bermagui

A tour highlight has been performing this tune live, particularly in the more resonant venues like The Chapel Of Light, Tallwoods, Bundanoon Uniting Church and Braidwood Uniting Church. When we build into the last section I’ve been watching the audience reaction as our sound fills the room and I find it a very special moment for us on stage and for our wonderful listeners.

In other exciting news, we are heading to Ireland in January 2025 to attend the international conference ‘Your Roots Are Showing’. Many thanks to those who have already donated to help us fund the trip! Being invited to showcase officially at an international conference is a big deal and could lead to major opportunities for the band to connect with a wider international audience. It is an expensive exercise to get us there though, so any help is greatly appreciated. Simply buying the album on Bandcamp would also be amazing. Or hit the button below to donate.

Our debut album ‘Home’ is finalist for Debut Album of the Year at The Australian Folk Music Awards. We are amongst some truly wonderful Australia Folk artists in this award and are honoured to have been nominated.

Those in Melbourne can attend the awards night:

That’s all for now folks, a huge thank you again to all those who have come out to see us, these shows have been truly heartwarming and made all the hard work making this album worth it.
