Nick Henderson (banjo) composes music of cinematic beauty inspired by the mighty Dyarubbin, a border-collie called Miles, the sweeping beauty of Dharawal country and a deep well of musical inspiration spanning old time, post-rock, jazz and instrumental folk.
Joined by some of Australia's most virtuosic improvisers Chris Stone (fiddle) and Holly Downes(double bass), Emily-Rose Sarkova (accordion) and Felix Lalanne (guitar), they make a veritable supergroup spanning the Australian Folk and Jazz scenes. The band play music from the heart, they uplift and excite with dynamic and cathartic journeys through music.
Recent highlights include winning Best Debut Album for 'Home' at The Australian Folk Music Awards 2024, playing at Woodford, The National and Cobargo Folk Festivals, releasing their second album 'It'll Be Alright' and being chosen to showcase in Ireland at Your Roots Are Showing Conference in 2025.
